We had a great rideout in Carrigart thanks to Liz and Ryan. The weather added to the pleasure. After a muddy/sandy and wet surface across the bay, in which some members got splattered with the mud, we quickly arrived at Tramore Beach. A couple of members planned to walk the beach, but when the few in front cantered off, they were forced to join in. We left the beach, over the sand dunes and worked our way through the old golf course which was great terrain for the horses. After what was definitely more than 7km, we arrived back at the Carrigart Hotel to a very welcoming feed. All in all, a great day out. A big thank you to Liz and Ryan, the Carrigart Hotel and to everyone on the rideout. One we’ll have to do again!
